Shireen is the founder and author of “Living Life! - Jîn – ذين”. 

She is an American who lived in Zakho from 1992-1993 and has since become a Kurdish language instructor and author
of Behdini and Sorani Kurdish language learning curricula.  She is also a teacher of English as a Foreign Language.
